Transportable Biogas Plant Arrives in Nagpur: A Mobile Gamechanger for India

October 14, 2024

SusBDe's Transportable Biogas Plant (TBP) has arrived in Nagpur. Built in the Netherlands in three months, the mobile TBP can be deployed across India to convert waste into biogas, offering a scalable solution to the country’s waste management challenges.

We are excited to announce the arrival of our innovative Transportable Biogas Plant(TBP) at our R&D facility in Nagpur. What began as a visionary idea during discussions with our partner Kedar Vaze and WTT has now become a reality. This week, we successfully brought ourTransportable Biogas Plant (TBP) to India, a mobile showcase of the SusBDe concept for converting waste to biogas.

Designed and built in the Netherlands in just three months, this plant is now being installed and will soon be ready for commissioning. What sets the TBP apart is its mobility – it can be transported across India, allowing for flexible deployment wherever needed and the abilityto produce biogas from waste.

This mobile solution is a breakthrough for India, demonstrating a scalable approach to waste management and biogas production. At our R&D center, we will analyze waste streams from various municipalities and showcase the TBP’s ability to efficiently convert waste into biogas. This flexibility makes it an ideal solution for addressing India’s diverse and widespread waste managementchallenges.

SusBDe is also proud to be part of the Dutch stand at IFAT in Mumbai this week, sharing our innovative, mobile solutions with a global audience.
