In the PACA region, green gas is gaining recognition as a critical energy source for a sustainable future. Produced locally from biowaste and organic matter, it is a decarbonized energy that directly benefits municipalities while supporting the circular economy.
The Numbers Speak for Themselves:
✔️ 70% of PACA residents believe green gas is an energy of the future.
✔️ 78% have a positive view of this accessible, renewable, and locally produced energy.
✔️ 3 out of 4 inhabitants are aware that their biowaste can be transformed into green gas.
✔️ 88% are willing to sort their food waste to support this circular energy model.
At SusBDe France, we collaborate with communities and municipalities to integrate green gas into territorial energy strategies. This initiative aligns with local sustainability goals and enables a greener future for the PACA region.
By working together, we’re not just promoting renewable energy but also enhancing local ecosystems, reducing landfill dependency, and empowering communities.
Let’s build a sustainable energy model, one municipality at a time!
This exclusive data was collected in March 2024 through surveys conducted by AVISO Conseil, involving 1,002 participants from the PACA region.
The SusBDe LOC Nagpur Project is a milestone in sustainable waste management. In Phase 1, a Dry Fermentation Transportable Biogas Plant proved its potential, thanks to collaboration with SusBDe, Keva Group, Keva SusBDe Biotech (KSB), and WTT, The Netherlands, supported by Dutch agencies. Phase 2 will complete a large-scale biogas plant to process 1,200 MT of waste in Nagpur, led by Kedar Vaze and Keva SusBDe Biotech Pvt Ltd, advancing waste-to-energy innovation in India.
PACA Residents Embrace Green Gas as the Future: Locally Produced from Their Own Waste The people of PACA are willing to drive, believing strongly in the potential of green gas as a sustainable energy source. Produced locally from their own waste, PACA residents are proving that they can make a real difference—and they’re committed to leading the way.
SusBDe recently welcomed Trasmec Pune's CEO, Mr. Mateesh, to our Utrecht office to discuss conveyor belt technology for the Nagpur biogas project and future developments in India. This meeting follows our visit to Trasmec in Pune with Machinefabriek Emmen, with further discussions planned at Trasmec’s headquarters in Cremona, Italy, to advance our collaboration on high-efficiency, sustainable energy solutions.
SusBDe's Transportable Biogas Plant (TBP) has arrived in Nagpur. Built in the Netherlands in three months, the mobile TBP can be deployed across India to convert waste into biogas, offering a scalable solution to the country’s waste management challenges.
